Ioannis is the managing partner of the law firm and has extensive local and international experience in the pharmaceutical sector. He served as head counsel of one of the top Greek pharmaceutical companies, handling the highest value licensing and distribution agreements in the Greek market. In 2010, he established ALG Manousakis Law Firm, which quickly became a recognized partner for pharmaceuticals and companies in the food and beverage sector in Greece, biotechnology companies seeking local advice and support in their day-to-day operations in Europe. The contracting support function for day-to-day operations in Europe, is currently comprised of 2 partners and 8 associates of the law firm. He is the author of the book "Pharmaceutical Law" and of various publications in law journals on compliance and regulatory issues for the healthcare industry, including competition law and data privacy issues.
Alexandros regularly advises multinational companies in a variety of sectors with regard to data protection. His experience includes advising on GDPR compliance, e-marketing, cookies, profiling, data sharing and data processing agreements, data subjects' rights and SARs, international data transfers as well as internal and consumer-facing policy reviews, privacy audits and Data protection Impact Assessments. He has also been involved on numerous projects related to whistleblowing and employee monitoring.

Nona, performs quality control of the ALG contract operations for the EU headquarters of pharma companies, drafts and negotiates agreements for the German affiliates and oversees a team of 4 lawyers mainly engaged in drafting of HCP/HCO agreements. She performs compliance checks both for services and HCP/HCO agreements for a multinational biopharma company. Finally she is very active in the commercial litigation segment, handling high profile cases for insurance and telecom companies.
Angeliki is a Greek qualified Attorney, Member of the Athens Bar Association, holder of an LLM degree in Private Law, while currently is a Law PhD candidate. She has a working experience on the fields of commercial, corporate & banking law. Due to her exposure to diverse professional environments, she has enriched her education through courses related to Internal Audit & Risk Management.
Prior to joining ALG, Angeliki had been working in the financial services industry while she provided her services for 2 years as legal consultant and compliance officer at a Brokerage & Investment Services Company with international exposure, supervised by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission.
Angeliki provides consultancy services on designing and implementing necessary Data Protection compliance initiatives, while she is appointed as Data Protection Officer for a biopharmaceutical company in UK and a Law Firm in Greece. Furthermore, Angeliki participates in GDPR programs and provides training courses to upcoming Data Protection Officers.
Konstantinos is a Greek Qualified Attorney and Member of Patras (Greece) Bar Association. Following the completion of two LLM degrees in Employment Law from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and in International Maritime Law from Swansea University, United Kingdom, Konstantinos worked for multinational companies and law firms based in London, such as Ernst & Young and Simmons & Simmons, focusing on international legal activities involving Corporate, Competition and Pharmaceutical Law.

Konstantinos has solid experience in contracting procedures and the negotiation of Clinical Trial Agreements and performs quality control for contracting operations. Konstantinos also provides legal support in regulatory and compliance matters, specializing in drafting, reviewing and negotiating several types of contracts to support operations in Europe, UK & US amongst others.
Alexandros is a qualified Greek Attorney, with postgraduate studies in civil and trade law in the University of Heidelberg - Germany and a holder of a PhD in International Environmental Law.
Alexandros served as legal counsel of the Public Power Corporation and the European Parliament, was legal consultant to numerous private companies in the field of public and private works, tourist enterprises, investment and acquisitions, has been involved in the implementation of special liquidation legislation in the banking sector and handled the commercial and civil litigation of credit institutions under special liquidation, developed and run a successful law office oriented in civil, commercial, corporate, energy and banking law before joining forces with ALG.

Arianna is a Certified Information Privacy Professional, Manager and Technologist (CIPP-E, CIPM, CIPT).
She is an LLM graduate in computer and communications Law from the University of London, and also holds a MSc in Business Studies for Lawyers from the ALBA Graduate Business School.
Arianna’s unique combination of legal, business and technology skills, with an extensive and diversified - over 14 years - working experience, handling legal and regulatory privacy compliance and management matters, allows her to provide pragmatic and business-oriented solutions to business of all sizes and industries.
Before joining ALG, Arianna, was of-counsel to the Legal Department of a major Telecoms & Broadcasting Media Group of Companies in Greece; now, Arianna is the senior Privacy Manager of ALG’s data privacy operations and oversees the implementation of multiple global and local privacy (incl. GDPR) compliance projects for companies in various sectors, with a primary focus on multinational pharmaceuticals; She is also appointed as the external Data Protection Officer overseeing the data protection activities of two multinational pharmaceuticals in Europe and worldwide.
Globally recognized as a privacy and data protection expert and a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) by the IAPP, Arianna enjoys contributing back to the privacy industry by authoring online publications regarding various aspects of data privacy and compliance. She is also a member of the IAPP where she volunteers as the co-chair of the Greek KnowledgeNet Chapter.
Athanasia having a legal and regulatory background, dedicates most of her time to advise on matters related to the General Data Protection Regulation, IT outsourcing and Cloud computing. She has drafted and reviewed several outsourcing and GDPR related procedures and policies as well as conducted gap assessments, delivered workshops and involved in the remediation phase. Regarding her working experience, Athanasia before joining Alg, worked for a Big Four for 2 years as a Senior Associate in the Regulatory Compliance department, providing advice on regulatory issues related to Data Protection, IT outsourcing, Cloud computing, Asset Management, AML/KYC, governance framework and corporate restructuring for various clients. She also spent 6 months in Spain as a law student in University of Salamanca. She has a vast working experience of more than 10 years in the fields of maritime and contract law. After her LLM studies, Vanda worked for 2 years as In-house Legal Counsel for an International Maritime Company involved in the review of several tender and contract agreements and the handling of Oil & Rig Offshore Projects around the world where she obtained great experience in contract drafting/review. During her stay abroad she had the chance to enrich her education through courses related to Construction (FIDIC), and Oil & Gas Contracts (LOGIC). Upon her return to her home country, she dedicated 8 years working in the Legal and Insurance Department of a top tier Greek Maritime Company listed in NYSE and operating globally. Yannis is a lawyer admitted before the Courts of First Instance who specializes in data protection and privacy issues with a focus on the implementation of new technologies. He is an alumnus of the Law & Technology LL.M in Tilburg University. At ALG, he delivers tailor-made, comprehensive and industry-specific solutions of data protection compliance for a diverse range of clients in the pharma industry. Yannis provides advisory services for the entirety of a client’s journey in data protection compliance - from data mapping exercises and risk assessment of sensitive data sets, to policy drafting and vendor management. Apart from his contribution to long term compliance projects, Yannis’ experience with distinct corporate functions and business units enables him to work together independently with client teams for the quick and lawful implementation of smaller-scale localized projects in Europe: from the launch of mobile apps and marketing campaigns to the implementation of employment benefit schemes and covid-19 protection measures.
Evangelos is a certified DPO executive and a Greek qualified Attorney at law, specialized in Data Protection and Privacy law. He holds a LLM in Law and Technology from Tilburg University in the Netherlands and he is currently a PhD Candidate in Law at University of Athens in Greece.

Elena is a Greek Qualified Attorney and Member of the Veroia Bar Association (Greece) with undergraduate studies in the Democritus University of Thrace (Greece) and postgraduate studies in European and International Law in the Europa Institut of the Saarland University (Germany).
Elena has worked in the Court of Justice of the European Union in the fields of legal terminology, legal informatics, legal translation and comparative law. She has served as a Legal Officer in a multinational company in Luxembourg in the area of Corporate Law and as a lawyer and legal translator in a law firm in Greece. Antonis is a Greek lawyer, admitted to the Greek Supreme Court, with 15 years of experience in corporate and employment law and in advising on commercial law mandates. Before joining ALG, she worked for the Centre of International and European Economic Law (CIEEL), a Research Centre based in Thessaloniki, completing research and consulting tasks for the Public Procurement Monitoring Unit of CIEEL and the scientific journal “Hellenic Review of European Law”. Regarding her working experience before joining ALG, she worked in a boutique law firm and was engaged, amongst others, with arbitration proceedings, institutional or ad hoc. She participated in the Legislative Drafting Committee for the "Corporate governance for Societes Anonymes" (Law 4706/2020) and the working groups for the Corporate Governance Code as it was published in June 2021 by the Hellenic Corporate Governance Council. She has drafted various legal opinions for Societes Anonymes in light of competition and company law and has participated in the codification of the legislation on behalf of various ministries. She has also worked in a shipping company listed in NYSE and involved in the setting up of offshore companies and branches, shareholder agreements, ship registration, re-flagging of vessels, etc.

Holding a Master of Laws in Transnational and European Commercial and Banking Law with a major in international contracting using new technologies and AI, Rania is currently a PhD candidate in the field of public procurement law. Her working experience extends to the fields of commercial/corporate law, civil law, and public law, with a special focus on public contracts, and in particular, on providing legal counsel during the tender preparation, drafting administrative appeals, and carrying out the procedural actions (applications of interim measures and acts of annulment) before the competent Courts.

Ismini is a Greek qualified Attorney and a member of the Athens Bar Association, specialized in EU and International Law. She has spent several years working in legal positions in the EU institutions in Brussels, notably in the Directorate‑General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology of the European Commission, as well as the European External Action Service. She has an extensive legal experience in contracting and compliance with a focus on grants, procurement and other financial instruments, as well as in comparative employment law and HR legal management.

Polytimi is a Greek qualified Attorney, member of the Athens Bar Association, holder of both an LLM in International Business Law (Université Paris II, Panthéon-Assas, Sorbonne, Paris) and an MSc in Law and Economics (University of Macedonia & Aristotle University of Thessaloniki). Filippos is a Greek qualified Attorney and a Member of the Athens Bar Association. He holds a LLM degree in European Law. Maria is a Greek Qualified Attorney and a Member of the Athens Bar Association, specialized in Data Protection and IP Law. She holds a LLM in International & European Legal Studies, direction Private Law & Business Transactions and she has completed a one-year internship supporting the DPO at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) in Spain. Maria provides expert data protection advice to clients located in and outside the EU/EEA, mainly to multinational pharmaceutical companies and support in developing compliance programs.She is fluent in Greek, English and French, while she also speaks Spanish.
Katerina is a Greek Qualified Attorney who joined the Athens Bar Association in 2022. She completed her LLB at the Democritus University of Thrace in 2020 and continued her legal traineeship at a major Greek law firm focusing on civil and commercial litigation and arbitration cases of international clients. After having participated in various MUN conferences (Model United Nations), at the ICJ (International Court of Justice) with the focus of Public International Law, along with her studies, she represented ELSA International ( European Law students’ Association) at the United Nations, in New York and Geneva. Simultaneously, she completed the summer program at the London School of Economics in Corporate finance law. She speaks English and French and she is a member of our contracting team.

Maria has been exposed in a wide variety of paralegal activities, adding value on complex assignments and is supervising the overall administration activity.
